StartupSac and the Carlsen Middle for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Sac State welcome one more thriving startup founder for Februarys Startup Delighted Hour, Matrubials co-founder and CEO Ishita Shah.
Ishita is the co-founder of Matrubials, a spin-out from the Food items For Health Institute, at UC Davis that is producing novel milk-derived antibacterial therapeutics to deal with infectious health conditions. Ishita and her team are creating the anti-pathogenic molecules from milk into therapeutics geared towards all-age health conditions.
In accordance to Crunchbase, Matrubials has lifted $125,000 in pre-seed funding from from Silicon Valley accelerator Y Combinator. They are also a cohort member of Sacramento-based mostly accelerators FourthWave and Sacramento Progress Factory.
